Our Story
Three decades of craft, learned the old way.
Josef Hirzinger didn't just learn watchmaking. He trained under European masters in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. He spent years working through the mechanics of time the way it had been taught for generations, long before the era of disposable electronics and overnight shipping.
He brought that craft to Fort Lauderdale and opened a boutique built on the same principles he was taught in Vienna and Geneva
No shortcuts, no outsourcing, nothing sent out that could be done by hand in the shop.
When a part doesn't exist, I make it. That's what I was trained to do. The piece works when it leaves here.
Training & Credentials
This isn't background. It's the whole point.
The reason Josef can fix what other shops can't is that he was trained to a standard that no longer exists in most of the world.

How We Work
Four things we won't compromise on.
Everything stays in-house.
We don't send work out. Every repair, restoration, and custom piece is handled on our bench, by our hands. If we can't do it ourselves, we'll tell you that before we take your piece.
You deal with the person doing the work.
There's no drop-off desk, no intermediary, no manager relaying information. When you have a question, you talk to Josef directly. That's rare. We think it matters.
We tell you what's actually possible.
If a repair isn't worth the cost, we'll tell you. If something can't be brought back to the standard it deserves, we'll say that too. Honest assessments are part of the service.
The piece works when it leaves.
We don't rush jobs to meet a turnaround target. Complex repairs take the time they take. The measure of the work is whether it's right when it's done not how quickly it was finished.
